Life expectancy is rising continuously. Unfortunately, the years gained are often dominated by declines in physical and mental capacities: On average, everybody lives in disability for 15 years! The forecasted burden caused by devastating diseases such as stroke is alarming. We believe that controlling vascular ageing holds the key to healthy ageing! This firm conviction is the rationale behind VASCage.
